What an awesome find! This darling cafe sits on the south shores of Lake Washington and has a lovely deck with views overlooking the lake. Service was outstanding and drinks and breakfast were absolutely delicious. We went for a breakfast date and shared the Chicken Fried Steak with homemade biscuits and gravy. Wow! Possibly the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve ever had. We couldn’t pass up the bakery next door and took home homemade donuts and cinnamon rolls.

The Stone House Cafe has been around since the 1920’s when it originally opened as a Collier Service Station. In the 1960’s it closed until 2015 when it reopened as a Cafe and Bakery. This family owned restaurant serves fresh local cuisine, craft spirits, beer and wine. Definitely add this to your Summer To Do List. They are located at 9701 Rainier Avenue S.
