I decided to battle this cancer on my terms. Instead of waiting for 18″ of hair to fall out I decided to be proactive and sport a short haircut for the next month. We are doing this in phases. Short, then shorter…then full Guggenmos buzz cut! Leah at Moda Hair Salon in Renton did an awesome job giving me a short sassy cut. She had to teach me how to use my flat iron to curl it. These are import things right now.

I’ll start the last day of the year, at Overlake at 8:15am for 2 more biopsies. This should help narrow down the treatment options. Yesterday I went to Valley Medical to pick up my paperwork and I’m now scheduled for a 4 hour planning/treatment options meeting at Valley on January 8th. I’m excited to meet them and hear what they have to say. It took me 15 minutes to get there yesterday which was dreamy.
Keep those prayers coming! We are praying the “new friends” are only inflammation and that there’s not a full blown unchaperoned party in my breast. Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New Year! 2019 is going to be amazing. I just know it.
