Community Support During Breast Cancer: Meal Train & Love in Action

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is say “yes” to help—and the most beautiful thing we can witness is a community rising in love.

Hello Framily of Tracy!
Dick and I have been mesmerized by this amazing group of dear friends and family as we have joined together through Caring Bridge on Tracy and Steve’s Breast Cancer Journey.

First of all we have been so impressed with Tracy’s writing ability! Her indomitable spirit, joy, and love just come bounding through each entry. Followed closely by reindeer and flamingos! Tracy is unwavering in her determination. It is evident to all of us that she will destroy this awful cancer! However, she is the first to say she couldn’t do it without all the love and support she receives from you!

As we close in on this surgery date, there have been so many offers of meals, visits, walks and other ways to support! We have set up an account on the website, Meal Train to organize it all. Just click on the link, set up your own account, scroll through the calendar and sign up. There are a few helpful hints about delivery, etc. It probably will work with just 1 sign up per person. Easy-peasey!

I’m sharing my contact information below as well. Please feel free to contact me by phone, text, or email with questions or concerns.

There really aren’t words to thank you enough! But on behalf of Tracy, Steve, Garrett, Grady, and Jenna I will! THANK YOU for being the best Framily ever!

See you on the Bridge!
Susan Wade (Tracy’s proud Mom)

The journey may be hard, but love makes the road lighter. Thank you for walking beside Tracy—every bite of lasagna, every warm text, every porch drop-off matters more than you know.
