There are few things I love more than cookies! I could actually eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner. But they have to be reallllllly good cookies. I like to think of myself as a discriminating cooking connoisseur. I’m picky about my indulgences. Pretty things are also at the top of my list of favorites. When you combine delicious cookies + pretty=Cookies by Meesa.

 I discovered Meesa Andelin on a Facebook post when I was looking for someone to make a special dessert for my wedding in October. Being a cookie girl I wanted hand-frosted pretty cookies instead of a cake. Meesa was awesome to work with and was full of ideas. These are the cookies she made for our wedding! Aren’t they awesome?

She also made cookies for two different friends celebrating their 50th birthdays. One had a wine tasting theme and the other was a Hawaiian theme. They turned out amazing.

Meesa  Andelin is one of those women who makes doing life look easy. After hearing her story I still find myself asking “how do you do it”?  I am pretty sure she never sits still!! Meesa has been a Renton resident for over 20 years. Besides being a local cookie expert she’s also a paraeducator at Tiffany Park Elementary school in Renton. She has raised 3 kids that are out and on their own and has one darling 18 year old daughter left at home. Meesa’s cookie journey began about 6 years ago when a co-worker, gently,  urged her sell some of her yummy frosted sugar cookies that she always brought in to work. She started a small Facebook page and has been baking and frosting away ever since. Meesa says, “I love making treats for people because, well, treats make us all happy, right?!” I agree! They make me so happy!

Meesa’s cookies are custom ordered. If you can dream it up she can probably make it. Since her life is a wee bit busy you need to plan ahead but they are so worth it!!! Definitely add her to your list for holiday cookies but order them NOW because spots are filling up fast. Give her as much time as possible. At least 2-3 weeks. Meesa is off December 22-January 2.
