
Another awesome find at the Port Orchard Farmers Market…Tom Farmer’s Oyster Co. fresh oysters and clams. We aren’t big fans of raw oysters but throw them on the BBQ and it’s a whole new experience. Super easy and a very fun way cook them.

BBQ Oysters

- 2 dozen Fresh oysters
- 4 tbsp Butter, melted
- ½ tsp Red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp Garlic scape pesto
- Salt & pepper
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
Rinse oyster shells and place on medium-high grill.
While oysters are steaming, place remaining ingredients in microwave and melt butter.
Check oysters after a few minutes to see if they have steamed open. Using a hot mit and oyster shucker, open oysters and discard top shell.
Brush each oyster with garlic pesto butter and continue to cook for a few more minutes. Top with parmesan cheese.
