3 Charming Home Decor Stores in Kitsap You’ll Love

I thought I was just running errands. Next thing I know, I’m standing in a furniture store wanting to sell everything I own and start from scratch. Welcome to my accidental home decor obsession.

If you know me, you know I love cozy, curated chaos. So when I stumble into stores that feel like soul-food for the home—I stay. And recently, I found not one, but three new go-to spots that made me want to redecorate everything (including my life).

Eclectic Home Furnishings | Silverdale, WA

📍 9991 Mickelberry Road NW #102 (next to Trader Joe’s)
🕙 Mon-Sat 10–5 | Sun 12–583. They are open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.

Let me just say—this place is dangerous. In the best way.

I wandered into Eclectic Home Furnishings and immediately fell in love with everything. It’s like someone bottled up Pinterest, added heart, and gave it a front door.

Tables, lamps, couches, art, that black-and-white desk I may still be dreaming about… and a turquoise light fixture that felt like a serotonin boost. They even let you test items at home before buying (bless them). And yes, they offer a layaway program—which my bank account is grateful for.

The best part? Everyone was genuinely kind. No pressure, just real help and a lot of personality.

The Garden Room | Gig Harbor, WA

📍 4729 Point Fosdick Dr, Gig Harbor
🕙 Mon-Sat 10–6 | Sun 12–5

Another favorite store is The Garden Room in Gig Harbor. I’m sure if you’ve lived here for a while you already know of this lovely store but being new to the area I just discovered this gem. I went in last week to find a birthday present and left with multiple gifts. I even started my Christmas shopping. I have been following them on Instagram and just knew I needed to go find this little boutique store. They are currently fully stocked for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Josephine’s Mercantile | Port Orchard, WA

📍 701 Bay Street, Port Orchard
🕙 Mon-Sat 10–5 | Sun 11–5

This one’s a local treasure.

Josephine’s Mercantile is part vintage wonderland, part community hub. You can lose yourself for hours among antique finds, cozy corners, and handmade gems. Add in Farmer Rosie’s Cafe (inside the shop!) and you’ve got a dream day out.

Last time I went, I found an old bell that felt like fate. It now hangs outside our front door and rings for Seahawks touchdowns and the start of Happy Hour. Honestly? Best purchase of the year.

My favorite thing to do is visit Farmer Rosie’s Cafe, located inside Josephine’s Mercantile, grab a delicious coffee and slowly make my way from booth to booth searching for the perfect item.

During one visit I found this old bell and new it was the perfect anniversary gift for Steve. We hung it just outside the front door and we proudly ring it for every Seahawks touchdown and to announce the beginning of Happy Hour on the deck.

Why Shop Local?

Because these shops aren’t just about things—they’re about story. About connection. About finding the exact right thing that makes your home feel more like you.

When we support local, we don’t just buy—we build community.
