For 3 Beautiful Blessings

All Things Home is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring JoyRoots Foundation and 3 Beautiful Blessings this Christmas. Our 2023, A Very Merry Little Christmas is now live! 

You may remember that last year we supported an Arizona Family by raising over $4000 during our 2022 Christmas Magic Fundraiser for Arizona Foster Children. The 3 beautiful sisters woke up Christmas morning to an abundance of love and wrapped packages. We received scooters, helmets, Amazon Fire Tablets, toys, clothing, gift cards, Christmas Dinner, Omaha Steaks and much much more. We couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support that was showered upon the “Angel Family”. 

We are once again supporting this family to help make foster parenting a little bit easier and bring joy to 3 Beautiful Blessings who couldn’t be growing into the young ladies that they are without the love and support of a village.  This year we get to FINALLY introduce the family!!!

All Things Home LLC has recently joined forces with the Giacomoni Family in launching a non-profit, JoyRoots Foundation. We will be incorporating the first week of January 2024, applying for 501(c)3 status to continue the mission of advocating in community to change the world with love and kindness.

JoyRoots Foundation was born out of love. Tamara and Kevin Giacomoni opened their hearts and home to three girls, Kadence, Trista and Trinity, in 2022. After hearing the heartbreaking story of three neglected sisters re-entering the Arizona foster system they stepped in and took them into their loving home under the Kinship Law in Arizona. You can read the story here and here. The horrific living conditions and their story make it a very difficult read. 

Along with a powerful, loving village, Kevin and Tamara have nurtured and loved the girls since October 2022. They have advocated relentlessly for the health and safety of the girls. As newbies in the foster world they have learned to navigate a highly complex system.

JoyRoots Foundation has been a lifelong dream of the Giacomoni’s. After raising five of their own children in a blended family, Kevin and Tamara, have a unique perspective on the ever expanding family. Surrounded by a large support system they have loved and nurtured the three beautiful blessings as they folded them into every aspect of Giacomoni Family Life. 

After battling 15 months with the legal system it’s time to launch what they have learned and open up their hearts to help others. JoyRoots Foundation believes wholeheartedly in advocating in the community to change the world with love and kindness. 

While a parent’s love is the strongest bond there are many challenges and obstacles to foster parenting. JoyRoots believes that community can make all things possible. Every person has a gift and JoyRoots would like to team up with supporters to help with the monumental task of raising this new family.  

Foster parenting takes a very special set of skills and most of us do not have the desire, bandwidth, or energy to take on such a task, but have a strong desire to help those families that are doing their absolute best to provide a safe, loving home to children.  We would love to encourage you to watch these girls grow up and be involved in their everyday lives, at an authentic level while making a visible impact.  The Giacomoni Family mission is to give Kadence, Trista, and Trinity all the things they need in order to grow up healthy, loved and nurtured. As with many neglected children, the girls have not been exposed to very much and providing them with opportunities to travel, participate in extracurricular activities is important for their growth and development.

If you would like to participate in the 2023 A Very Merry Little Christmas Fundraiser the following needs and wants list is available. Kevin and Tamara are focusing on educational materials this year. The girls are learning to read and write as they have consistently been in school since 2022. They also have a small home so items that are multi-purpose are awesome. 

I can tell you that we had the girls for a very fun Christmas sleepover and groceries are a huge need in the household. I had forgotten how many snacks are required in a 24 hour period. Kevin and Tamara have worked relentlessly on expanding their palettes and emphasized eating healthy. I’ve added some links for great healthy snacks from Amazon.

• Pray for this sweet family. Pray for the safety of the girls and allow them to feel the love surrounding them.
